Locust_Star just informed the US audience that Universal Game Launching will be releasing tomorrow to all US Home users. So now instead of just exiting the whole service and playing the game with friends, you’ll be able to do it straight from Home.

That’s not all coming, now there will be a preview option of avatar clothing, and furniture for your space. So instead of spending that hard earned cash, only to find out you don’t enjoy it, you will actually get to preview it.

New Emotes and avatar actions will also be available for users to try out. New item types are available, including the camera. When you take a photo via 3rd Person or 1st person view it’ll automatically save towards your HDD. Some bugs were also fixed in the service.

A revamped Central Plaza has occured, and a new personal space is available. The Neptune space is an underwater space, where you’ll have minigames to play, even a little pet.

One new space is going to debut on the North American servers, the Hot Shots Golf Space.

Most if not all will be available in tomorrows Home update.

EA has released a new trailer for Battlefield Bad Company 2. Titled battlefield moments, this one shows the usual multiplayer mode. You’ll hear the characters throwing around the F-word around, and lots of explosions. So if your a fan of the first Battlefield Bad Company you won’t be disappointed with this trailer.

Naughty Dog announced over at the US PlayStation Blog that the multiplayer demo for Uncharted 2 is now available for download. With the demo clocking at 1.3GB, you’ll get all the standard multiplayer features. There are 4 Competitive maps, 2 Co-op modes.

Square Enix showed off a new trailer at the Tokyo Game Show this year for Final Fantasy XIII, you’ll see Fireworks, and Snow with his love interest Serah. With a mix of some gameplay.

One of the most asked for feature for the Playstation Network is the ability to talk to your friends even though you are playing totally different games.

A source told VG247 that Sony has informed developers of plans to incorporate cross-title voice chat in PS3 play by the end of October.

The feature could be added to firmware version 3.10.

The gameplay modes for Gran Turismo 5 has been revealed during Sony’s Tokyo Game Show 2009 press conference. The following modes are available:-

• GT Mode: World Map, My Garage, Car Dealer, Tuning Shop, Championship Race, and License Test.
• Online: Open Lobby, Text/Voice Chat, Private Room, Online Photo Album, Online Replay Album, and you can export replays to YouTube.
• Photo Mode: Photo Drive, Photo Stage.
• GT TV: Improved UI, export of videos to PSP, and progressive downloading.

Did you love White Knight Chronicles? Good because you’ll be pleased to know that White Knight Chronicles 2 has been officially announced via Japanese Magazine, Famitsu.

The second game will be called White Knight Chronicles: The Awaken of the Light & Darkness. There isn’t alot of information at this point but maybe we can expect something at TGS.

For those of you that were put off by the Nazi Zombies in World at War will be pleased to hear that there will be no zombies in Modern Warfare 2.

It depends on what it is. For us it didn’t fit in our game. We have Spec Ops which is our off-the-storyline path, but it’s just not our bag really. We like to keep it consistent and in the same universe, not to say that we wouldn’t do something like that in the future, but for what we are doing right now it’s just not something we’d do. We want everything to… like things we do in multiplayer contribute to things we put in the single-player, which contribute to things we put into multiplayer, which contributes to things we put in Spec Ops. If you have ray-guns and teleporters it’s not going to help.
