Final Fantasy Verus XIII, the exclusive Final Fantasy game for the Playstation 3 is believed to be more like a traditional Final Fantasy game than Final Fantasy XIII. What this means is that FF Versus XIII will be more like FF7/FF8 where you travel across mountains, ocean and going in dungeons etc.
Obviously the battle system won’t be like a traditional FF game but rather the exploring and story telling will be.
The battle system has changed from turn-based to real-time for Versus and the storyline will follow the traditional style of FF.

And how do you know all this? Sounds like your just making shit up to get more visitors for the site.
And do you think you could make a better website?
I have to say, Morph, That was a pretty pointless reply to asdfqwe’s comment. What does his capability of making a better website have anything to do with whether or not he believes the story is made up or not.
There are no sources and the headline is blatantly sensational, while the body of the story has a sort of “retraction” of the headline without any sort of rhyme or reason. Sure, you can say it’s just a rumor, but the way the story was written was clearly done to pull in more page counts.
I’m just thrilled that the developers from Kingdom Hearts are involve in it, and their goal is that the combat system looks like the Advent Children’s, but I have to disagree with the “more Traditional” cause, since when FF 7 & 8 are traditionals?, I think FF6, FF9, FF12 those are traditional.
well, i wouldn’t say 12 is traditional, art style and character wise etc are more traditional, but i think they mean by world maps, ships cars etc.
it would be awesome though as opposed to just picking a point in the map and if it does goe back to the old style sign me up.
and i prefer the the turn based combat as opposed to the new ‘real time’ stuff.
Yeah, turn based was the best, last seen in FFX, the greatest final fantasy… but square enix experts think that real time shi. is the way…
From what assumption? Western Journalism fail!
way to not provide a source fellas
this site fails harder as the days go by

There is a source to where the author found this information. Can you not see it?
I also spotted the source within the text. It wasn’t bold but slightly larger.
The source is in the article and has always been in the article. I’ve just made it bolder so you can’t miss it.
Sorry for any confusion.
I’m sorry, but that is a pretty bad way to refer to a source.
But other sites do it?
Yes. Some sites refer to the source in the body of the news article, while others refer to the source below the body of the news article.
And your response is pointless. Just because some other sites don’t refer to their sources in a clear manner (or even at all) doesn’t make it any less irksome.
I already knew this. Nomura said this when VS13 was announced. Its good to have this part of the gameplay back.
Hey, I am so excited about this. I think I agree with some of u about the turn-based, was one of the best that I had ever played. This was like a pure chess game and more challenge. Hope they don’t forget about this. Maybe they are gonna bring it back in the next installment of FF.
