Black Box has confirmed that the Playstation 3 is the lead platform for the development of Skate 2 due to criticisms towards its predecessor. Jason DeLong, Producer confirmed this to GAMER.tm recently stating that Skate 1 was criticised for not being as good as the Xbox 360 version.
The PS3 has been our lead platform
DeLong spoke about why he made the decision to make the PS3 the lead platform.
the PS3 version Skate not being as good as the 360 version
But, DeLong wants Skate 2 to look the same.
The goal is that if you put both versions side-by-side, you will not be able to tell the difference.
Expect Skate 2 to be released next year.
